"other" option. 2) ETA will drop the use of a t-test to determine
difference between grantees customer satisfaction score from
national goals. 3) ETA will submit to all grantees a letter
describing their obligations under the Privacy Act and formal
guidance on informing participants of the use of their SSN each
time it is collected verbally or in writing.

The Older Americans Act (OAA)
Amendments of 2000 made significant changes in the SCSEP
authorizing legislation (OAA Title V). It increases economic
self-sufficiency for low-income individuals age 55 and over. The
new requirements include a State Senior Service Coordination plan
and performance measures. These changes require information
collection. There are 56 States and territories participating in
the current program and there are an additional 13 national
grantees as well. Each year about 100,000 people participate in
this program.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
