This regulation requires passenger
cars, trucks, buses, multipurpose pasenger vehicles with a GVWR of
4,536 kilograms or less, to provide enhanced protection when an
occupant's head strikes the pole/tree in a side crash.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
