This data collection is to test newly
redesigned forms used for real estate settlements with new and
experienced homebuyers. The Good Faith Estimate (GFE) and the
Guaranteed Mortgage Package Agreement (GMPA) forms will be
persented to 600 subjects to determne how well they can use and
understand them. A crosswalk between these forms and the HUD-1 will
also be tested. The testing of the forms will take place in five
cities the week of December 8, 2003. The form will be modified
based on the results of the testing between the rounds.
