FCC Form 314 is required to be filed
when applying for assignment of a broadcast station construction
permit or license. One July 2, 2003, the FCC released a Report and
Order and NPRM, MB Docket No. 02-277. Among other things, the
R&O requires applicants filing Form 314 to submit an exhibit to
demonstrate compliance with the multiple ownership rules and
cross-media limits, or supporting an exemption from, or waiver of
47 CFR Section 73.3555. Appliants must show compliance with the
local radio ownership rule using either the interim contour-overlay
or Arbitron Metro methodologies.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
