OMB notes that
DOT did not respond to the existing terms of clearance, which
clearly state that DOT should not include hourly labor costs in #14
on the 83-I. OMB has adjusted this number for DOT. Any future
information collections that do not respond to the terms of
clearance will be disapproved.

Bus manufacturers must certify that
vehicles are in compliance with the Bus Testing Regulation (49 CFR,
Part 665) prior to obligation of Federal Transit Administration
(FTA) funds. Manufacturers furnish information to FTA detailing
specifications and proposed changes. FTA responds with a
determination regarding the applicability of the Bus Testing
Regulation. The Pennsylvania Transportation Institute operates and
maintains the Altoona Bus Testing Center on behalf of FTA.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
