The Geospatial One Stop project is an
e-government initiative which will allow government agencies, data
users, customers, managers and private citizens to access
geospatial information -- information that is tied to a specific
location -- over the Internet through a one-stop portal. It will
facilitate collabora- tion among federal, state, and local
governments to make better information available faster while
reducing duplication and cost It will accelerate the development
and the implementation of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure
by making current and accurate location-specific information
readily accessible .......
