The primary objectives of this project
are to assess the effectiveness of Mentoring and Family
Strengthening programs in prevention and/or reducing of alcohol and
other drugs(ATOD) among youths at risk for such behaviors and to
assess the effectiveness of specified intervention strategies in
reducing selected risk factors of enhancing protective factors that
have been shown to be associated with use and abuse of ATOD in
youth and their families. Data will be collected from youth and
their associated adult at program intake, at program exit and 6
