Approved. IMLS
should make every effort to incorporate the Recruiting and
Educating Librarians for the 21st Century grant application into
the government-wide grants streamlining/E-Grants efforts. Before
expiration of this OMB approval, IMLS should transition this grant
to the government-wide E-Grants electronic application process
(known as E-APPLY). If it is not appropriate for this package to be
included in the streamlined government- wide application process,
because of a particular aspect of this program, IMLS should explain
the reasons in detail to OMB to receive future clearance on this
package. By October 1, 2003, all grant applicants will be required
to provide a DUNS number (the identifier assigned by Dun and
Bradstreet).
