Abstract: Section 1309 implements sections 644(c) and 644(f) of the Head Start Act, 42 U.S.C. 9801 et seq., It describes the procedures for applying for Head Start grant funds to purchase facilities in which to operate Head Start programs and the conditions under which grant funds may be awarded to Head Start grantees to purchase facilities.
