A short inventory questionnaire will
be completed by all mental health care and managed care
organizations in the U.S. to obtain minimal information to
establish a universe for the later sample survey and to provide
information for a directory. From the Inventory, a sample will be
drawn for a more extensive survey to obtain information on
ownership, management, characteristics of clients/patients served,
source of revenue for the organization, expenditures, and
staffing.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding
the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
