This information
collection request is approved; however, OMB remains concerned
about the utility of the customer satisfaction component of this
performance measurement system. While OMB is approving its use in
order to maintain consistency between the ES and WIA programs, ETA
should continue to explore methods and measures of customer
satisfaction that would provide meaningful feedback to States and
local boards. ETA will report to OMB on the progress of these
efforts, as well as on the response rates & data quality
associated with the current customer satisfaction process. Because
approval of the customer satisfaction portion of this collection is
tied to its continued use for the WIA programs, this collection
should be revised and resubmitted for approval when substantive
changes are made to the WIA collection (1205-0420).
