The Biennial Review is a performance
assessment effort mandated by legislation to review the services
and supplies provided by each Defense Agency and DOD Field
Activity. The review ensures the continuing need for each Agency
and Field Activity and to ensure that the provision of those
services and supplies are provided in the most effective,
economical, and efficient manner. The Biennial Review also provides
the Components with the opportunity to obtain feedback for purposes
