Terms of Clearance: Approved consistent with explanations given in conference call and email of 3/26/02. In addition: (1) NSF will add a question to the census surveys of the GK-12 and comparison students asking for self-report of GRE scores. (2) NSF will extend the field period for the internet surveys to include a "last chance" follow-up in order to increase participation.

Abstract: This data collection is to be used in the evaluation of the Graduate Teaching Fellows in K-12 Education (GK-12) Program. GK-12 is a teaching fellowship program. The single study design focuses on GK-12 projects funded during hte period 1999-2002 and involves two types of data collection. One consists of case studies of three cohorts of GK-12 projects. The second is a census survey of all GK-12 projects funded in this time period. This OMB submission seeks clearance for data collection instruments for both studies.
