Utility Holding Companies and of Mutual and Subsidiary Service
Companies.
Extension without change of a currently approved collection
Part 257 implements certain sections
of the Public Utility Holding Company Act of 1935 ("Act"), which
require registered holding companies and their subsidiary service
companies to preserve records for certain periods. Part 257 does
not impose any additional information collection, recordkeeping or
reporting requirements on these companies.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
