In May of 2000
this paperwork was given a 1 year approval cont- ingent upon NASA
piloting electronic submission of Forms 533M and 533Q using the
internet and XML whenever practicable. The year approval ended in
June of 2001 with minimal progress made for implementation of an
electronic submission alternative. While it is understood that NASA
is in the midst of a major financial system modernization, greater
progress towards a standardized submission method must be made. For
that reason this paperwork is renewed for 1 year until November
2002. If more progress is not able to be made, then it is
questionable whether NASA will be able to meet the GPEA
requirements for this collection by the October 2003 deadline.
