This information, covering consumption
and stocks of 12 metal commodities, is a critical part of the
metals data collection effort, and is used for military and
civilian planning, and policy decisions related to the concerned
commodities. Data are compiled into tables which list separate uses
for each commodity and the forms consumed to make them, as well as
stocks. Respondents are various industries that consume metal and
ferroalloys to make intermediate products for industrial and
consumer use.

the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
