An NPRM (RIN 2126-AA33), "Revision of
Regulations and Application Form for Mexican-Domiciled Motor
Carriers to Operate in U.S. Municipalities and Commercial Zones on
the U.S.-Mexico Border" proposes to revise regulations and the OP-2
form. The estimates in Blocks 13-14 reflect currently-approved
burdens plus additional effort required for the 1st year after the
Final rules are in effect (i.e., re-filings and initial new
filings). Note that after the 1st year of increased burdens, it is
anticipated that there would be a substantial decrease in the
burden.
