Abstract: The Notice of Lien allows State Child Support Enforcement (CSE) programs to administratively file liens in other States. Since 1994, all States have been required by Federal law (42 U.S.C. 666(a)(4) to file liens to secure child support debts. However, this form allows the CSE agency in the Initiating State to file liens in other States.
