Abstract: SEC proposes standardized forms for public use in submitting complaints and questions about a wide range of investment-related matters through the Internet and via hard-copy. The SEC will employ automation to direct Complaint Forms and the Question Form to the appropriate Division or Office of the SEC for review and processing, and to maintain a record of the complaint or question. The SEC will use the information supplied on the forms to respond to general investor queries, remediate consumer complaints, or to initiate enforcement investigations in appropriate circumstance.
