This information collection is
required under section 506 of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Public
Law No. 106-102. This section required the federal banking agencies
to prescribe joint consumer protection regulations that authorize
institutions to communicate among their affiliated: (i) information
as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the
person making the communication; and (ii) other information,
provided that the institution has given notice to the consumer that
the other information may be communicated, the institution as
provided the consumer an opportunity to "opt out".
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
