The goal of this study is to develop
and evaluate approaches to encourage young men who engage in risky
behaviors associated with HIV acquisition and transmission to
reduce these behaviors. Eight research teams will collaborate to
develop and evaluate a common protocol for a community-level HIV
prevention intervention to encourage White, African American,
Latino, and Asian and Pacific Islander young men aged 15-25 who
have sex with men (YMSM) to practice safer sex behaviors. The
efficacy of the intervention will be evaluated through
cross-sectional data, pre- and post-intervention (May
