The North American Numbering Plan
Funding Worksheet seeks financial data and payment from
telecommunications carriers to fund the North American Numbering
Plan Administrator (NANPA). The NANPA is responsible for
administering telecommunications numbering and making numbers
available on an equitable basis for the United States, Canada, and
much of the Carribbean. Congress directed the FCC to create the
NANPA and to provide for its funding. 47 U.S.C. 251(e)(1) and
(2).

the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
