Abstract: This information collection is necessary to comply with 5 USC 2301, which requires adequate public notice to assure open competition by guaranteering that necessary employment information will be accessible and available to the public on inquiry. The PTO is using an electronic application foorm to collect this information to assist in the hiring of patent examiners.
