regulations under section 316(b) of the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C.

facilities throughout the U.S. The survey also collects economic
data on facility ownership, major activities, markets, and
finances. EPA will use this information to assess facility-level
and firm-level impacts of complying with the proposed regulations
on cooling water intake structures, intake technologies, and
environmental impacts.
