The YASS survey is being undertaken in
response to a request for information from the House Committee on
Banking and Financial Services to determine the vulnerability of
HUD properties to Year 2000 (Y2K) problems due to noncompliant
embedded chips. The survey will require Public Housing Authorities
and multifamily owner/agents to voluntarily self-report on the
status of their Y2K compliancy efforts.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding
the proposed collection of information, that the certification
