This rule implements the Children's
Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), title XIII of Public Law No.
105-277, 112 Stat. 2681 (Oct. 21, 1998), which prohibits unfair and
deceptive acts and practices in collecting and using personally
identifiable information from and about children on the
Internet.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
