NOAA's Coastal Services Center seeks
to conduct a customer survey in compliance with Executive Order
12862, Setting Customer Service Standards. The purpose of the
survey is to assess the coastal resource management community's
information needs. The results will allow the Center to determine
the kinds of services its customers want, to understand the
customer's level of technical expertise, and to document priority
issues most relevant to the missions. This information will be used
to guide the development of future products and services in the
formats and software commonly used by customers.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding
the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
