Private pension plan administrators
are required to file annual reports with the IRS which includes
information about future pension plan benefits for individuals who
have left the plan coverage. The information collected on schedule
SSA is sent by IRS to SSA. SSA maintains the data and forwards
information about future pension benefits to beneficiaries at the
time the individuals claims for social security benefits is
adjudicated.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
