The Commission is proposing to revise
its rules pertaining to the filing of agreements between and among
ocean common carriers and marine terminal operators. Certain
agreements are required to be filed under section 5 of the 1984
Shipping Act. These agreements are reviewed for statutory
compliance. Information collected under 46 CFR 535 is necessary for
the proper evaluation of filed agreements.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
