The Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic
Act provides that nutrient content claims and health claims may be
used on the label of a food if the claim is made in accordance with
regulations issued by FDA. Sections 101.10, 101.13, and 101.14
establish the requirements for a restaurant to make such claims on
its menu, signs, placards, or other form of labeling.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
