The information is required by Public
Law 102-477, Indian Employment, Training, and Related Services
Demonstration Act of 1992, section 17. The Act requires the
Secretary to develop, maintain, and publish, not less than
biennially, a report on the population by gender, income level,
age, service area, and availability for work. Response to this
collection is mandatory because it is in accordance with a public
law.
