This is a follow-up study of a group
of persons who, as 10 year old children, were part of an earlier
study of a group of conditions referred to as developmental
disabilities. These conditions include mental retardation,
epilepsy, cerebral palsy, hearing impairment, and vision
impairment. The purpose of the present data collection effort is to
characterize, through structured in-person interviews, the
present-day status of these young adults in terms of health status,
living arrangements, socialization, employment, quality of life,
service utilization, and independence.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).

the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
