Abstract: Under section 3 of the Federal Fungicide, Insecticide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), an entity wishing to market a pesticide must apply for registration by submitting various forms and data regarding the composition, identity, labeling, safety, and sometimes the efficacy of the product. EPA uses this information to determine if the product complies with FIFRA requirements.
