The FCC will use
an 83-C to either update the burden hours of this collection to
reflect 50 hours per voluntary advisory committee or to include the
costs of such a committee. This update should reflect the
experiences of the FCC with these committees.

The technical showings and
interference agreements submitted by DTV respondents will be used
by FCC staff to determine if the public interest would be served by
the grant of the application and to ensure that the proposed
facilities will not result in additional interference to other
stations. The information regarding frequency coordination
identifies the coordinator and ensures that the coordination
process was open to all interested parties.
