electronic mail to meet the two notification/permission
requirements contained in this collection. Emails should be
sufficient to meet the intentions of these rules.

Section 73.1207 requires licensees of
broadcast stations to obtain written permission from an originating
station prior to retransmitting any program or part thereof. A copy
of the permission must be kept in station files and made available
to FCC upon request. This written consent assures the Commission
that prior authorization for retransmission of program was
obtained.
