Requires that MARPOL 73/78
requirements be implemented in U.S. regulations. International oil
pollution prevention (IOPP) certificate is used to ensure and
document compliance of MARPOL 73/78 and 33 CFR 151 and 155 and
compliance with oil discharge and monitoring requirements.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
