This information collection is in
conjunction with a notice of proposed rulemaking. Title 10, section
1079(j)(2)(A), of the U.S.Code provides the statutory authority to
reimburse institutional providers based on DRGs. Hospitals who want
to be reimbursed for allowed capital and direct medical education
costs must submit a request. Physician acknowledgements are needed
to ensure understanding of the attestations.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
