Central Contractor Registration (CCR)
logically establishes a central repository of data pertinent to the
acquisition and payment processes. The centralization of this data
eliminates the duplicative bidder and contractor information
systems currently submitted by contractors on the Standard Form 129
and as certifications and representations on responses to
solicitations. The contractor will be responsible for submitting
their data once to one location in lieu of on a recurring basis to
multiple Government contracting activities.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
