Longitudinal follow-up telephone
survey of parents of children attending day care centers to
determine the extent to which the size of day care centers are
associated with the rates of illnesses/injuries for children
attending day care; estimate the difference in costs of
illnesses/injuries among chldren in small and large day care
centers and cost impact on families; and compare health of families
on both types of centers.
