We grant a
generic clearance for all NEH application packages, including
associated forms and guidenlines. This generic clearance does not
apply to surveys, evaluations, or other data collections used for
policy making purposes. The following condition of approval
applies: NEH will submit a single copy of each application package
whenever revisions are made. NEH must add the required PRA
statement 5 CFR 1320.5 b (2)(i) to the application
packages/forms/guidelines upon reprinting. During the next year,
NEH shall evaluate with NARA whether there is a continued need for
the waiver from using the SF 424 (versus the NEH budget form); if
not, NEH shall continue simplifying and streamlining their forms
consistent with the PRA of 1995.
