Terms of Clearance: The FCC has permission to modify the FCC-307 to include the TIN if desired. Additionally, if the Department of Treasury requires it, the FCC may add the TIN of the payor. The FCC shall ensure that the Privacy Act\PRA notification is modified to meet the Debt Collection Improvement Act requirements using the generic format agreed to by the FCC and OMB. The FCC has permission to delete the expiration date from this form provided a version date is incorporated into forms subsequently printed.

Data is used by FCC staff to ensure that licensees/permitees are making a conscientious effort to construct an authorized station in order to bring service to the public.
