This collection
is approved on the following conditions: (1) CDC outline the
additional steps that it will take to increase response rates to at
least 80%; (2) provide OMB a more detailed description on how the
country sample selection will take place; and (3) provide OMB
information on whether the graduates that are surveyed are based on
the universe of graduates or a sample. If it is based on a sample,
a full description of the sampling methodology shall be provided.
Information requested in all of the above conditions must be
provided, and the issues must be resolved, prior to implementing
this study.

Established in 1980 by the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Field Epidemiology
Training Program (FETP) seeks to assist participating countries in
developing applied in-country training programs for epidemiologists
in their Ministries of Health (MOHs). Data will be collected from
host country MOH officials, FETP training staff, and FETP
participants in five different countries. The evaluation will
assess (1) the appropriateness of CDC's recruitment methods, (2)
the sustainability of FETP programs, (3) the quality of FETP
training, (4) the effectiveness of FETPs in adressing....
