through 10/97 under the following conditions: 1) VA reevaluates
survey efforts such as the Office of Small and Disadvantaged
Business Utilization Survey to ensure that they are satisfaction
instruments and not serving the function of program evaluation; 2)
all surveys must incorporate the new disclosure statements mandated
by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. For the public record, the
VA must submit to OMB the revised forms/ instructions; and 3) under
this generic clearance, the VA will submit each new customer
satisfaction instrument or amendment for OMB review. OMB will
provide comments on the instruments within ten working days of
receipt.
