EPA is conducting surveys of households to determine the long-range efficacy and economy of lead-based paint abatement practices and repair and maintenance approaches of residences. Survey results will identify means of reducing lead exposures, particularly among childern in residences where complete abatement or rehabilitation is not feasible.
