Although the FCC
originally requested that this collection be reviewed on an
emergency basis, OMB has delayed approval of the collection to
allow the FCC to incorporate a number of changes proposed in public
comments. The FCC has done this. OMB grants the FCC a regular
clearance because of the incorporation of comments and a review
time of more than 30 days.

This data collection will be filed by
microwave applicants, in lieu of FCC 402, 494, 313, 430, and 703,
desiring to operate a radio station. The data is used to determine
eligibility for licensing, to issue Federal authorizations, and to
maintain an accurate data base for proper use and oversight of
frequency spectrum.
