FSIS IS PROPOSING TO CENTRALIZE AND
AUTOMATE THE EXPORT CERTIFICATION PROCESS FOR MEAT AND POULTRY
PRODUCTS INTENDED FOR EXPORT TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES. EXPORTERS OF
MEAT AND POULTRY PRODUCTS TO FOREIGN COUNTRIE WOULD BE AFFECTED BY
THIS PROPOSED RULE, WHICH IS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE EXPORTER
COMPLIANCE WITH FOREIGN COUNTRY FACILITIY, EQUIPMENT, ANIMAL
HEALTH, AND PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS.
