is approved as amended by the National Institute for Literacy's
amendments of 8/7/96. In addition, the application package shall
display the expiration date. Finally, the Institute shall review
the need to collect information on program activities on a
quarterly basis and consider reporting on a less frequent
basis.

To fund three cooperative agreements
for collaborative development to voluntary content standards that
communicate a new vision for what adults need to know and be able
to do in their roles as citizen, worker, and parent/family member
as a first step for improvement of the adult literacy
system.
