Public Utilities and Holding Companies
Rule 71 and Form U-12-I-A and U-12-I-B implement subsection 12(i)
of the Public Utility Holding Company Act of 1935, which makes it
unlawful for an employee to prevent, advocate, or oppose any matter
affecting the company before Congress, the Commission, or the FERC
unless such person files a statement with the Commission.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
