Abstract: The AF form 2586 is a key tool in administering the physical security program on military installations world wide. It verifies identity in order for commanders to make informed decisions on allowing unescorted entry to controlled and restricted areas. Respondents are primarily full-time defense contractors whose primary employment area is located in a controlled or restricted area on an Air Force installation.
