The Health Hazard Evaluation (HHE)
Program was designed to assist the National Institute for
Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in recommending new
standards for workers exposed to harmful physical agents or toxic
substances, to assess the validity of existing standards, to
provide individual workplaces with a resource for determining if
toxic substances or harmful physical agents are present in their
environment, and if they are present, whether they represent a
potential health hazard.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).

the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
